Withdrawal Instructions
Information on the right of withdrawal for consumers and the model withdrawal form.
These instructions are addressed to consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB. Two separate contracts are concluded on the MoveDeal platform, and different rules apply to each. Please therefore read both sections.

1. Right of withdrawal for the contract on use of the platform
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which the contract was concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal you must inform us (MoveDeal UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Breslauerstr. 3, 80809 Munich, Germany, email: contact@movedeal.app) by means of a clear declaration, for example by letter or email, of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form reproduced below for this purpose, although its use is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of withdrawal: use of the platform is free of charge for you. Accordingly, in the event of withdrawal you owe no payments and no payments fall to be reimbursed. Withdrawal terminates your access to the platform. A transport contract already concluded with a moving company is not affected by withdrawal from this contract; section 2 applies to that contract.
2. Right of withdrawal for the transport contract
The transport contract is concluded between you and the moving company you select. Any withdrawal must therefore be addressed not to MoveDeal but to the relevant moving company. Its contact details and withdrawal instructions are provided to you before you accept the offer and in the order confirmation.
No right of withdrawal where a fixed moving date applies
For contracts concerning the carriage of goods for which a specific date or period has been agreed, there is no right of withdrawal under § 312g(2) no. 9 BGB. Since a specific date is normally agreed for a move, the right of withdrawal for the transport contract is generally excluded.
Irrespective of any right of withdrawal, you may terminate the transport contract at any time. The legal consequences follow from § 415 HGB; under that provision the moving company may, subject to certain conditions, claim compensation, while you remain entitled to demonstrate that lower costs were incurred. Further details are set out in section 7 of the Terms and in the moving company's own terms.
If you book services via the platform that do not constitute carriage of goods on a fixed date, for example the purchase of packing materials, the statutory right of withdrawal applies to them. You will be informed of this separately during the relevant ordering process.
3. Model withdrawal form
If you wish to withdraw from the contract on use of the platform, you may complete this form and return it to us. To withdraw from a transport contract, address the declaration to the relevant moving company.
